ChargePoint CT4000 EV Chargers are open and free for use to all Verathon employees.
For non-EV users and EVs not actively charging, please refrain from parking in these spots.

Setup
Getting set up for using the Verathon EV chargers is easy and can be done ahead of time to ensure a smooth experience.
To sign up, download the ChargePoint app on your phone and either create an account or login. Using the app:
Go to: Main menu> Account> Connections>Browse Connections
*As an alternative or in addition to downloading and using the app, you can sign up online and request a ChargePoint card: https://www.chargepoint.com/drivers/activate

Enter the connection code: 46263716

Click on the resulting Verathon group connection, enter your work email, and read and agree to Verathon and ChargePoint’s terms and conditions before clicking “submit request”.

Wait for an email notification that your request was approved. This step may require restarting the ChargePoint app. The Verathon connection will show as “active”.

Using the stations
There is a 3 hour maximum charge time from 5:00 AM to 7:00 PM Monday-Friday.
There are 4 charging spots available on a first come first serve basis. If any of them are open, drive into the spot.
If all spots are occupied, you have the option to join a waitlist queue. More information on waitlists can be found here: https://www.chargepoint.com/products/waitlist.
When notified of a spot, you have 5 minutes to respond on the app with a maximum of 3 snoozes.
After accepting, there’s 20 minutes to plug in before losing the waitlist spot.
Once it’s your turn, make sure your phone screen is on, NFC enabled, and tap around the NFC sign until the station beeps and the connectors unlock.

A charging session can also be started through the app or tapping an RFID card if you signed up for one.
Remove the charging connector and plug it into your vehicle.
Note: Stations are connector type SAE J1772, Level 2 chargers. Tesla owners will need to bring their own adapters.
Alerts will be sent via text and email when the charging session (3 hours max) is complete. Please return the charging connector to the station and move your vehicle out of the spot within 20 minutes afterwards. There is no benefit in leaving a vehicle connected more than 3 hours as charging will stop.
Any technical issues or questions on the stations should be addressed to ChargePoint and NOT Verathon. Contact ChargePoint either through the ChargePoint App or by phone 1.888.758.4389
General etiquette
*NOTE: these rules are subject to change depending on user feedback and usage
Charging should be thought of as an amenity to help employees get to and from work. Please refrain from using them to “top off” unless there are vacancies. Per ChargePoint, a 3-hour limit should give drivers up to 75 miles of driving distance.

Please do NOT unplug a charger from another person’s vehicle unless given permission.
After charging, users are expected to move their vehicles within 20 minutes. Otherwise, the session will be logged as a “failure to move”.
If you have feedback on the setup or any questions please feel free to reach out to Facilities or the Corporate Social Responsibility team.
