How to Resolve Connection Issues with DocStar

This article explains how to troubleshoot and resolve connection issues with DocStar. If you are experiencing difficulties accessing DocStar, follow the steps below to diagnose and fix the problem.
Prerequisites
- Ensure you have access to the Verathon network.
- Verify that Cloudflare WARP is installed and properly configured on your device (for remote users).
Step 1: Validate VPN Connection (if you are remote)

Check Cloudflare WARP Connection:
- Ensure that Cloudflare WARP is connected and active.
- Open the WARP client on your device and confirm that it is set to Connected.
- Click the ^ icon near the clock in the lower right-hand corner of your screen.
- Look for the Orange cloud icon (Cloudflare)
- Click on it to see if Zero-Trust is connected.
- Toggle the switch to Connected and verify your access to internal resources if disconnected.

Verify Internet Connection:
- Ensure that your internet connection is stable.
- Restart your router or modem if necessary.
- If using Wi-Fi, make sure you have a strong and stable signal.

Test DocStar Access:
- Try opening DocStar in your browser.
- If it does not load, clear your browser cache and try again.
- If still unsuccessful, proceed to Step 2.
Step 2: Contact IT for Assistance
If you have confirmed that you are connected to Cloudflare WARP or are in the office but still encounter issues:

- Contact the IT Service Desk for further assistance.
- Provide details about your issue, including any error messages encountered.

- Your current location (remote or in-office).
- Status of your Cloudflare WARP connection.
- Screenshots or error codes, if available.
